Hong Kong's exam-driven system leaves little room for creativity. Many students lack the motivation and self-directed learning habits that matter most in an AI-shaped world — where curiosity, initiative, and the ability to keep learning on your own decide who thrives.
From my working experience and access to resources across the UK and Hong Kong, I see a real gap between what the current learning system delivers and what young people will actually need. As William Gibson said, "the future is already here — it's just not evenly distributed."
This tribe is a space where HK secondary students — both in Hong Kong and those who have immigrated to the UK — can close that gap. I'll build tools and experiences based on what the tribe needs, so members can see what's coming and prepare for it. Parents are welcome too, to stay informed about the skills that actually matter in a world being reshaped by AI and global change.
Join and you'll get an instant link to our curated Visual Hub — a collection of the most iconic visuals across film, animation, and design, capturing the taste and creativity of different generations.
Hands-on sessions in design thinking, creativity, and problem-solving — for HK secondary students in Hong Kong and those who have immigrated to the UK. Plus curated learning experience updates on future skills, AI, and global education delivered to your inbox.
Tribe members are the first to hear about new products and experiences I launch — and many opportunities are free for members, including invitations to take part in our latest research-based learning experiences and projects.
I've seen the AI revolution from both sides — leading the HSBC Future Skills Programme for 10,000+ students, and holding an MA from the Royal College of Art. Post-graduation, I design automation workflows at a large UK organisation. This dual perspective revealed what skills AI can't replace.
Now I help parents, youth, and adults build creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration — skills AI can't touch. I've been incredibly lucky to learn from inspiring teachers, mentors, and legendary masters throughout my journey. Through Saipprentice, I want to make this invisible luck tangible and share it with those who recognise its value. Whether you're 8 or 80, let's learn what makes us human and live the life we choose.
